Lopez de Heredia is a Spanish winery with long history.
Located in Rioja region, Lopez de Heredia sticks to the traditional method, using natural yeast only.
This Gran Reserva (1985) had been in the oak for 8 years then bottled and aged in the winery.
As you could tell from the image, the bottle was sealed by wax Instead of tinfoil, a very different way from common methods.

The color tends to be more orange than purely red. The taste of tannic is pretty gentle. Overall the taste is with complexity and depth. However, if you prefer stronger taste, this might be not that powerful.
